When I was approach to know if I could capture images during the evening of this great event I accepted of course. It was such a great energy for a greatly deserving cause; Squamish Helping Hands Society. The event was at the heart of the community. Local talent displayed in the organization of the event, featuring local Chefs and entertainment. It was not only a superb evening but a beautiful moment to celebrate the power of our community and how rich in talent we truly are.
The evening was so rich in moments here are a few to give you a taste.

A second post was needed here to show that these girls don’t just smile and look pretty for the camera!
They do that while also ripping it on the glacier……oh and did I say dancing is permitted, anywhere, anytime!
Whistler Photographer | Spirit of Sarah Scholarship | Part 1
We live a privilege life to be able to claim “x” amount of days on the mountain and the glacier per year. I know that for some this is a completely foreign reality even some members of my family have never been here, I wanted to showcase the atmosphere, the genuine friendships that are created here for life, the sense of belonging that a girl can find and call this her world…like we all do and always will.
I had the honour of capturing these girls spirit at it’s best during Girls Week at Momentum Ski Camps on Whistler Blackcomb glacier this week. It was my way of honouring my fellow teammate Sarah whose spirit I could see in every girl’s heart during the camp. And as she wouldn’t have had it any other way; we danced, we laughed and we exuded some serious girl power on the glacier. It was everything that I imagined and remembered from my days on the Glacier when I was on the team.
