Project Skin MD
I have been so blessed with exciting projects I am asked to participate in. A few months ago, I was contacted by L’Oréal to photograph a gorgeous new skin care clinic in Vancouver called Project Skin MD. I can’t even start explaining everything I love about this clinic. It is one of a kind. It’s unprecedent location, decor, space, staff knowledge, state of the art treatment and not to mention how friendly and approachable everyone there is.
Dr William McGillivray is at the head of this amazing team as some of you may know him best for receiving some of his care at his Whistler clinic. Skin Ceutical, a beautiful active cosmetic line of L’Oréal, is their product line of choice and simply divine.
But I will let the images speak for themselves and invite all of you to go visit next time you are in Vancouver, you will love it, I know I did and I am now hooked!
A few months ago we gave you a teaser about Jeff in this previous post,
I was approach by a musician that was looking for a fresh look that he could feel proud of but still had a little edge. Meet Jeff Fry, local Squamish boy and proud to be. Jeff is freaking good, I mean really good. We talked a lot before planning the shoot. I truly wanted to feel and hear what he had in mind and bring my vision to compliment his ideas. One of his inspiration is is surrounding so it was imperative that we plan the shoot to be outdoor surrounded by what he calls home.
Count on the boy to be no different then most artist, he forgot to bring his guitar to the shoot! It’s ok, I often forgot to bring my skis to the hill on competition day in my previous life. It’s what we do. But once we got the guitar there and I told him to just do his thing, my shutter couldn’t stop, it was too sweet to interrupt.
A few days ago I get the call, he’s got it all finish! The cards, the posters, the promo but most of all the disk! I just put my hands on this sweet sweet piece of art and I am telling you it’s butter, you basically want Jeff to sing all those things to you…even thought I know that his muse is is long time love , I can still be a groupie.
Look at what I got yesterday fresh off the press, kind of cool!
A few months ago, I was invited into Hollyburn Golf & Country Club in West Vancouver to photograph their STUNNING venue for weddings. It was stylized in 3 different themes by the combined efforts of A Sweet Beginnings and LimeLight Floral and they did such an amazing job. It looked scrumptious and Vanessa and Phillipe were a treat to work with. A lot of fun, some passion and a little fashion thrown into the mix.
Hint: If you got something sparkly on your left finger recently and are looking for a venue that is very adaptable to different setups with great food and awesome service, check out Hollyburn.
Stay tuned for the stylized setups……!
