Meet Carrie & Curt.
They are in love and they are gorgeous to see together. They came for a quick visit to Whistler for a fun E-Session in the snow. I couldn’t help myself get so excited knowing that she was also sporting the cutest 5 months old belly. The couple is expecting their first child in September and are already planning a beautiful wedding in 2014.
Enjoy some fun images below and a little show at the end…
And here is a little show
I DARE YOU NOT TO SMILE!
In order to start the New Year with the values close to my heart, I was eager to show you one of my most favourite Family Session from the end of 2012.
You may have read about the Pearson Family in previous post, that is because I have been so fortunate to have met Nicole way back in a maternity yoga class while we were both expecting. Her with already two boys at home and me with Charlotte. Since then I have been invited in their home numerous times and the boys ( all 4 of them now!) are always so nice and we often high five each others or hug it out.
The beauty of having been part of these boys world for a while is that now we truly just go and have fun for our photography session. They are use to me and I am as the oldest would say:”no big deal” so I think Nicole & Peter would agree to say that I am able to capture the boys and their full personalities.
So to start the New Year, these images remain me to take the time to spend time with my family, to go for more walks in the woods and to laugh and run lots.
Thank you Nicole & Peter for your continued trust and congrats on raising 4 handsome boys for which it will be very hard to keep my daughter away in a few years.
P.S Nicole just like me loves documenting her boys life in images and lately we started to focus on creating a Family Book for her to have a special keepsakes. Here is the latest one for the curious readers out there; Pearson Family Book
When deciding where to photograph Christine & Cody E-Session, we had a few ideas but since their wedding was going to be taking place at Capilano Suspension Bridge, we though it was too good to pass up the chance to have them wonder around like they would to discover all the hidden spots and beauty and so we did.
When Julie and Mike told me that they wanted to do their E-Session in Squamish, I was so excited. Most of the time I am either in Whistler or Vancouver for engagement sessions. It was such a treat to be able to showcase some of Squamish beauty with such a sweet couple.
Time to take a moment and resurface after a brilliant Summer. As I am in the final editing of my late Summer weddings, it is so important for me to take moments to rejuvenate. A few years ago rejuvenation would of meant, a day at the spa followed by a dinner at Rim Rock and a cocktail in front of the fireplace. Don’t get me wrong these things all still happen but most likely not all at once. These days it’s more about spoiling my little girl (she would like me to say big girl), finding this perfect umbrella and seeing the pure joy she experience by simply having her very own umbrella and going for a walk in the forest under the rain!
If you pay attention it’s really the little moments that counts!
