I hope my work catches your eye (actually both of them).
Put your feet up, put on some nice music and get comfortable.
You’ll probably be here awhile.

Squamish Family Photographer
Family photography usually defaults to thinking about babies and toddlers and the wonderful first years of life when precious milestone’s are being reached; birthday’s or learning to crawl and walk. When Marine called asking if I could photograph herself, her brother and parents for a special gift to her mom I couldn’t be more excited. As I always say, it’s the moments in every day life that become the most special and God only knows, those ,moments are only just beginning at age one or two.
So meet beautiful Marine, her brother and parents.
Whistler Wedding Photographer | Whistler Mountain | Miwah & Jonathan
It was an early morning and it was a perfect one. Preparing to be at the top of the mountain at 8:15am takes dedication for some who are just going up for a day of skiing. For Miwah, it was the time to be awake, ready and waiting to meet her groom at the end of the aisle outside Mountain top. Stay tuned for the next post that includes Miwah’s words on their love story and her wise words to future brides.
Whistler Commercial Photographer | Album Cover | Jeff Fry
When the call came in for this one, I could hardly wait. Definitely different and very definitely fun. Here’s just a small teaser with more to come shortly. By the way…he’s headed out on tour soon…probably something you don’t want to miss.
Squamish Family Photographer | Jack & Sean
Meet the McLeod’s. These boys are priceless and so sweet. We spent some time brainstorming where the perfect place would be for this photo shoot and in the end decided to start at their home and see where this adventure brought us. And well … we stayed. There is no better place than home sweet home. The boys were happy and relaxed which meant their parents were happy and relaxed! I guess I don’t need to tell you how it made me feel.
Yes, you guessed it … very happy indeed.
Whistler Family Photographer | Baby Kaï
Kaï’ is a fighter. One of those precious little babes that held his place on this gorgeous Earth of ours but wasn’t given the easiest road to get here. After the worries, tears, sleepless nights and hearing an awful lot of encouraging words, his very proud maman and papa were blessed with his beautiful, healthy little self. The energy between the 3 of them is electric and if you’re lucky enough to be a part of a shared gaze between them the intensity almost makes you feel like you’re intruding.
It was a beautiful time. Thank you Patrick and Thirza for sharing this with me. xo
Whistler Wedding Photographer | First Look | Gina & Chris
Are you into First Look photos? I am and this is precisely the reason why. Private, intimate moments stolen away just for yourselves. Sweet anticipation of the first look, the first touch, the first kiss. And a beautiful relaxed ceremony to follow.
Why did you choose Whistler?
My parents have had a cabin up at whistler since the late 70s. Almost all of my childhood memories are based there. Chris and I both love whistler all year round and know that it is a place where we will create many more memories with family and friends.
Whistler Wedding Photographer | Fairmont Chateau Whistler | Gina & Chris
Meet Gina. She married Chris this summer in Whistler at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler. Yes, she’s just a little bit pretty.
If you’re liking this, you’ll love what we have planned for you over the next few days. You. do. not. want. to. miss. this. Take my word for it. And as a little added bonus Gina and Chris were sweet enough to share a little insiders information and some tips to new brides that we’ll share a bit of in each post.
How did he propose?
Like many couples, chris and I are always busy during the week. We decided to find things we both love that get us outside which lead us to paddle boarding. We packed up the car and head to Middle beach lodge in tofino. After playing on our boards in the waves we sat on a log in the sand and chris asked me to marry him. Of course I said yes and we celebrated with champagne in the sun, sand and surf. Anyone who knows chris knows why I said yes. He is simply the best!!!

Whistler Wedding Photographer | Playing with Street Photography
I dabble. Yes, my business focuses on wedding and family photography by here’s what I love most about carrying a camera around with me. You can find beauty in everything. And while we tend to focus on life’s events and milestones, sometimes it’s in the every day that we can find a moment to capture and preserve forever.
Now, this particular day had me on the ferry going to the Island. And if I’m being really truthful, these moments aren’t necessarily those moments that I’m referring to that should be captured forever more. However, aside from that I love watching people, hence the street photography. There isn’t much of this genre in the Whistler area but it’s a rapidly growing and very hot genre in major cities around the world. So when I dabble outside the world of photographing my beautiful daughter, this is where my eye tends to go. A moment in the day of a stranger. What’s their story? What did they wake up to that morning? Where are they going? Who do they love?
Hope you enjoy my mini journey.
Vancouver Family Photography | Coby | Part 3
Coby has become part of our blog family now. This is part 3 of a 3 part series. I’ve been so honored to be invited into their home 3 times to document his amazing growth and incredible milestones. I love the challenge of capturing a child’s essence.
So here we are with Coby who is now walking and growing up into such a handsome young little fellow. Can’t wait to see what round 4 will bring us. Thank you so much for inviting me into your family.
Vancouver Family Photography | Coby | Part 2
If you check in here periodically (and if you don’t, shame on you!) you’ll recall Coby’s first post from when he was an infant. I had promised part 2 and here it is. Now, do you see what I mean about the hair? Isn’t it awesome? Mom and dad have fully embraced the faux hawk and Coby is stylin’ in a serious way. His cuteness is so huge, it was hard picking a few favorites for this post. Part 3 will be up next week and yes, it’s also part 3 of his hair.
