The infamous question. How much do you cost?

Wedding coverage starts at $3,500 and typical wedding collections start at $4,500. Babies, bellies and family collections start at $550. However depending on some specialized needs (elopement, last mite, week days) custom packages can be developed. Give me a call and let’s talk. I’m reasonable and can usually find the right fit for you.

How long will it take to see our photos?

We live in a world of instant gratification, I understand that more than anyone. I aim for 3-4 weeks but usually do better than that. If you’re really nice to me, I’ll send you a sneak peak of a few favorites off the top to fill the void while I work through the rest.

Do your prices include digital negatives?

Absolutely! Not only do you get them but you’ll look completely gorgeous in them.

Do you shoot more than one wedding a day?

Only when shooting in Utah and there’s more than one wife.

Do you shoot solo or with someone else?

I work with an assistant and have a second shooter available to me for those couples who want a second view of their day. Generally couples go for the second shooter, but it’s a free world and it’s your choice. Either way, you’ll have stunning photos.

What’s your approach?

Nothing is more important to me than learning everything I can about you before starting the shoot. Everything in your life, good and bad, shapes who you are. The more insight I have, the better I’m able to capture your story. Before our initial consultation I’ll ask you to fill out a little questionnaire to get our conversation started. Don’t worry, it’s not a test. It’s fun. Really.

What’s your availability?

First and foremost, I produce the best work when I have time to get to know my clients. I take only a limited number of weddings and family sessions per year and my season books quickly. You can book me from one week to 12 months in advance. Let’s chat first and if we think we’re a good fit for one another we can lock down a date. Bookings are confirmed by a smile and a firm hand shake. Oh, and a deposit too.

What do you shoot with?

The professional stuff. Without getting too techie on you, I shoot with my favored Canon and have probably more lens than I actually need. But I love them. And yes … back up is always packed in my bag because you just never know.

What kind of payment do you accept?

Plastic, cheque, cash. I also like diamonds.

How do I secure my date?

Flattery almost always works but my bookkeeper seems keen on deposits. PayPal can help you with this. Dates book early so don’t wait too long.

Bridal registry?

Yes, you read this right. We’ve realized that the average couple today is a little more established and don’t need the typical Williams Sonoma bridal registry. So we invented the Gadbois Bridal Registry and it’s been a hit. Your guests can purchase a gift certificate in any denomination for you to put towards your collection. And if you sign up to use the registry, there’s a little extra something in it for you. But don’t ask what it is, because it’s a surprise.

Where do you work?

I’m based out of Whistler, Canada but my camera bag and I love to hit the road. Pick up the cost of travel, put a roof over my head and I’m happy. My camera will love you too.

Have I missed anything?

Call me, I love to talk.
