A Whistler wedding on the mountain is always bound to be spectacular.
Surround yourself with great vendors that knows the mountain inside and out and you’ve got yourself a postcard whistler mountain wedding.
Laura & Christina
What made this particular wedding memorable for me was Laura and Christian. They choose to celebrate their day in the most intimate way by having only their parents and siblings. It made for a small group with big emotions.
Laura got choose to get ready in the Westin Resort & Spa to be close by the gondola. She did so with only her mother present. She picked out the most delicate dress and a very simple yet elegant headpiece to accentuate her gorgeous short red hair. The accessories were a simple purse and her grand mother fingerless glove.
They opted for a very sweet first look right at the base of the gondola. This made it special and yet practical to head up the mountain right after with their families.
The ceremony was done in style, humour and emotion by the great Jeremy Postal. I have to admit he always finds a way with his words and demeanour to get a tear or two out of me at each ceremony we are lucky to capture together.
While their family members took the time to discover the Peak to Peak traverse and it’s surrounding, the couple and I headed right for the goods to Peak Chair. Laura being the avid hiker that she is had brought her special Vibram runners which I have to say did turn a heads from tourist!
Laura had a quiet and discreet elegance about her that simply stole my heart. I had to remind myself to breathe as I was completely taken by her natural beauty and her majestic presence.
Laura & Christian, you gave me the most precious gift a photographer can receive from it’s clients; your complete trust. You choose to put your guards down while being photographed by me. You showed me your complicity, playfulness and love for one and other without reservation. I will be forever grateful.
