A Whistler Wedding is always such a beautiful event but a Winter Whistler Wedding Nita Lake style is something else.
Michelle and Michael fell in love with Nita Lake Lodge pretty much for the same reasons I, myself love to photograph there. The Lodge has this rustic elegance feel that was just perfect for Michelle and Michael.
We had a chance to break the ice a month prior by capturing some fun engagement session photos with a little picnic in the park. With a few special touches such as the groomsmen gifts, this wedding was filled with special surprises for all involved. Michelle got to enjoy a little quiet time in the Bridal Suite with her girlfriends while getting ready. They selected the Porte Cachère for their ceremony venue which gavethem the dramatic features with the gorgeous mountains in the background. With a little bit of fresh snow on the ground, the train tracks were the quiet setting suited for a few romantic couple images. With the sun setting, I felt so fortunate to capute the sunset glow off the snow and the lake. Michelle and Michael choose Aura restaurant in Nita Lake Lodge for their reception and it was stunning, an intimate gathering with some great moments, stories and … …some of the best fireworks, I have ever seen to surprise their guest! A true show stopper. Michelle and Michael, may your life be filled with gorgeous adventures and may you keep on surprising everyone around you.
