How did you get started?

While I was competing on the National team for Freestyle Canada in Aerials, I was discovering many wonderful areas of the world and decided to buy myself a camera to document it better to realize that I was quickly falling in love with what would become my next passion in life after my ski career. Fast-Forward 12 years later with lots of learning, a photography degree, a business and a LOT of Trial and Error but I still wake up with a grin on my face wondering who the hell did I get so lucky to call this work?

What has been a pleasant surprise about your profession?

The realization that I can truly help people document their journey and leave a tangible legacy that they were here, mattered and were loved for their future generation to see and feel as well.

What has been a less than pleasant surprise about your profession?

That being an entrepreneur running a small business is a little bit about photography and whole lot about a whole bunch of other business stuff!

What’s your favorite part of your work?

That even if for some reason, I am having a bad start of the day, the moment, I pull out my camera and engage with my clients, I am completely absorb in their world, their love, their unique story and that often time these interactions will develop into a lifetime of friendships.

Something people may not know about you?

Despite looking quite confidant and outgoing while being in my element of photography, I am quite a shy person and feel quite awkward in social situation.

Fuck… You can really use it for any circumstance, event, thing or emotion, good or bad.

Belly laugh

Cry of pain from a baby

8. What profession other then your own would you like to attempt?

Florist… ever since the movie Bed of Roses with Christian Slater!

9. What profession would you not like to do?

Mortician… I think that’s pretty self explanatory.

10. Finally if heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates?
